New black Canon Powershot G1X Mark II will appeal you to use for all hunting of remarkable scenes

Perhaps I should convince you that this New black Canon Powershot G1X Mark II will appeal you to use for all hunting of remarkable scenes or moments.

Canon first introduced the black PowerShot G1X series in 2012. This camera product line is unique because it is technically a pocket camera with a lens that is permanently attached , but equipped with sensors measuring 1.5 inches which is almost equal to the size of a DSLR camera .

Two years later , Canon introduced its successor , the Black PowerShot G1X Mark II . This camera brings many changes and fix the many flaws of its predecessor . G1X Mark II , for example , no longer has an optical viewfinder which does have a limited scope .

As a result , this camera also looks more slender with a slightly trimmed up side , though still not exactly " pocketable " or fit in a pocket . This is because the lens is slightly sticking out .

Black PowerShot G1X Mark II  has a thicker gauge than the PowerShot G12 because the lens is slightly sticking out.

The lens has also been updated . Its scope has now reached 24 - 120mm ( 35mm equivalent ) f/2.0-3.9 with openings . The figure was higher focal length at the wide and telephoto coverage than the G1X lens belongs to the first generation , but also has a larger aperture .

This lens is equipped with two rings . One ring is used to adjust the camera parameters ( aperture / shutter speed ) , while the other is a manual focus ring that can be used to set the focus at any time . Zoom mechanism with knob still run around the shutter button , like a pocket camera .

The lens on the PowerShot G1X Mark II has a range of 24 - 120mm equivalent in 35mm format and wide openings.

Flash lamp was redesigned by applying the concept of a pop - up with the use of hinges , compared to the first generation G1X fixed placed facing the front of the body , similar to the PowerShot G12 . Flash models with a flexible hinge has advantages because it can be bent back to bounce the flash to the ceiling ( bounce ) .

LCD screen on the PowerShot G1X Mark II can be bent 180 degrees toward the front

Flash -owned PowerShot G1X Mark II features a flexible hinge
LCD screen hinge is also changing , which has now become a kind tiltable display , not fully articulated screen as its predecessor . Although it could also be bent through 180 degrees towards the front , the screen is less flexible because it can not be rotated up / down while the camera is in portrait or vertical orientation .

As an alternative to the LCD screen , G1X akeseoris Mark II now provides an electronic viewfinder ( EVF - DC1 ) that can be purchased separately . EVF mounted on the hot shoe G1X Mark II is equipped with a proximity sensor so that it can be activated automatically when the user close the eyes to do framing .

The EVF - DC1 has a resolution of 2.36 megapixels or XGA . The electronic viewfinder can be bent up to capture images with a low - angle corner .

Canon also introduced accessories electronic viewfinder ( EVF ) to accompany G1X
In terms of button layout, not many changes were implemented by Canon . Nearly all remain in the same place with similar functionality anyway .  the display menu to set various kinds of camera settings that the user is definitely familiar with the series of compact cameras from Canon PowerShot .

At the G1X Mark II 12 megapixel sensor with embedded cross-sectional area 4.5 times larger than the sensor type 1/1 , 7 inch common on compact cameras . Although the resolution is slightly smaller than the first generation G1X ( 14 megapixels ) , G1X Mark II promises quality capture better photos with alloy DIGIC image processor 6 .

Do not forget the autofocus system to be improved . G1X Mark II now has a 31 point AF , compared to the first series of this camera is only nine . Based on experience in the Kompas Tekno menjajalnya CP + photography exhibition in Yokohama , Japan , February 13 , autofocus G1X Mark II feels more hurried than its predecessor .

The lens has a wider aperture also produces bokeh ( blur ) is more subtle . Unfortunately, the Canon can not provide a sample photo as a model on display in the exhibition when it is not a final version or production models .

In general , using the G1X Mark II gives a different sensation than the first generation G1X , but still familiar to anyone who has ever used a pocket camera PowerShot " G Series " from the manufacturer .

With a retail price is pegged at around 800 U.S. dollars . G1X Mark II will deal with models of high-end compact cameras such as the Sony RX100 Mark II is much slimmer despite having a smaller sensor , also with a mirrorless camera models from several manufacturers that are in the price level .

The main attraction offered G1X Mark II is a combination of large sensor and lens berbukaan wide -reaching . The price to pay to get these two things are fairly bongsor physical size to size " pocket camera " . Can G1X Mark II draw the consumer ? Forward presence in the market from April 2014 .
